Ronnie was one of the few friends I had back in high school that I kept in touch with, at least once a year. Ronnie worked as a nurse in my OBGYN's office. We always had a little discussion about DMHS and our time there. Two or three years ago she was so happy to be retiring. This is the first I heard of her death and I am shocked. She was such a kind and gentle person. My sympathy to her family

Ronnie was one of the Cleveland School classmates that I knew. We even started Nursing School together-with Karen Boyan and Nancy Martling. Her early life was not easy, but she always kept a very sincere and kind demeanor. Too soon to be gone.

When Jack Romaine told me of Ronnie's illness and subsequent death, I felt as if my heart broke. Ronnie was my dear friend from elementary school on. When she and Jack met, he too became a dear friend. I watched them meet and fall in love, and was in their wedding party. We wrote letters now and again over the years, and shared experiences long distance. I was so proud and pleased with Ronnie's accomplishments, and her happiness with Jack and her family. I remember the many times she was in my home growing up, and my mom would be her teacher. Ronnie was the kindest, most loving person, and the best friend you could ever have. Not long after she and Jack retired, they came to Utah and visited with me. Ronnie never changed, and it was just as if the years between had never been. Jack and Ronnie were and are among my dearest friends, and happiest memories. She will be missed.
