Stephen and I were good friends for so many years. He and I shared a love for ballroom dancing. He was a terrific dancer and we went to many dances through junior high and high school. After I went to college, I met many nice young men, but most of them had two left feet! I would always compare their dancing to Stephen's and they lost out.
I remember lots of Chinese dinners following a school dance, and I still love Chinese food! Stephen and I would go with a group of kids, and ordered "one from Group A, one from Group B" and we all shared. Lots of fun.

Stephen's parents were the neatest people, and would often include me on trips to plays and musicals in New York City for Stephen's birthday. I loved those trips. Halloween often found me knocking on their door in costume and being warmly welcomed by the family.

Dancing will forever be tied to those years of friendship with Stephen.
